Lifestyle Resorts comes to the Tweed Coast
15 January 07 Lifestyle Resorts Australia is proud to announce the purchase of a4.5 hectare site at Barneys Point on the Tweed Coast. The site is considered to be one of the most strategic waterfront sites in the highly sought after NSW-Gold Coast growth corridor and is zoned for future tourist and marina facilities.Lifestyle Resorts DirectorBobMorrison said he was working through options for the site but intended to create a lifestyle facility that would enhance the area and complement the existing natural amenity.
“We have purchased the site with the view of creating adevelopment that isin line with the Tweed Shire Council’s strategic objectives for the area,” he said.
“We are currently working through the detail of our plans for the site but we would expect that it will be along the lines of what we have created in other regional coastal areas of NSW with additional themes that capitalise on the amenities.
“The marina capabilities are certainly one of the additional value-adds of the site and we intend to explore these options further.”
